i’m a han and jiro fan. pains me to see them in the same drama but not together… wish she played the lead instead >.< would be more like the manga character than this XF. anyhow. i think XF picking jiro the robot is good. nothing wrong with that. Jiro is proving to evolve to be more humanly… so nothing wrong with that. since XF cant see ZhongShi as anything more I dont get why even force it. I feel bad for the guy but… its stupid to say XF is making a bad decision. just my opinion. lol
OMGs Zhong Shi, if you have to try that hard to constantly tell someone you like them and get them to be with you and they’re STILＬ reluctant….move on!!!!

i saw a preview of episode 12. some night model is impersonating Ni-te and he was beginning to malfunction again. in the manga, it was because they did THAT that caused the MAIN malfunctioning, the fight with the other robot is only secondary. don’t know if there is the consummation scene in the series???

sometimes there are just a few of us who just want to escape that harsh and
tragic reality. Even though Nightly’s consideration, gentleness, and caring was
“programmed” and not born that way, to Xiao Fei, it doesn’t matter a
single bit. Even though Nightly is a robot rather than a human being, to Xiao
Fei, it doesn’t matter at all. Nothing else matter to Xiao Fei more than
Nightly’s presence and “programmed” love because Nightly was the
first one to truly cherish her and gave her true happiness in her once dark and
hopeless world.
Many
of you may perceive Xiao Fei as being very selfish since she is afraid to face
the challenges that ordinary/humane love has to offer (Xiao Fei relationship
with ZongShi), and just want to take the easy route towards true happiness. However, for many of you who have experienced
that dark,tragic, and hopeless place filled with heartbreak and sorrow may know
that if you can prevent and protect yourself from experiencing it a second
time, you would without a doubt. From my perspective, I believe that Xiao Fei
is trying to protect herself from being hurt once again. In Xiao Fei’s world,
true happiness is choosing the individual who loves her more than she loves
him, and that individual is Nightly.
No
offense, but “pure love only exists when you accept and cherish an
individual in their purest form.” Or simply, pure love is to love an
individual for who they truly are.
Therefore, even though ZongShi may appear and prove that he loves Xiao
Fei beyond everything since he is always trying to decide and do what is best
for Xiao Fei, his love for Xiao Fei is not pure love. As a matter of fact, ZongShi love for Xiao
Fei appears to be obsessive love, or simply, loving a person so much that it is
no longer a good thing. Did you see how
difficult it was for Xiao Fei to eat the food that ZongShi made for her, in
which she dislike, since she didn’t wanted to waste ZongShi’s time, hard work,
and effort. Since ZongShi loved Xiao Fei
so much that he wanted to change her for the benefit of Xiao Fei, ZongShi doesn’t
love the real Xiao Fei, but the Xiao Fei in which he imagines and want her to
be. Therefore, Nightly’s love for Xiao
Fei is pure love even though he was programmed to; however, as you can see that
overtime Nightly did slowly developed humane qualities and can no longer can be
controlled. This shows that pure love is
so strong that it can withstand any barriers and challenges.No
offense, there are no right or wrong answers to a gray question, only different
perspectives and opinions, and my perspective regarding this issue may be quite
different than many of yours.

In my point of view, Zhong Shi is controlling. You are right. He is trying to create Xiao Fei in a way that he thinks she should be. The ways he shows his love is giving her pressure. His proposal of marriage was quite a surprise, since I do not see that they have even dated. I pity him for being rejected many times, but why didn’t he make the first move before Naite appears, & when Xiao Fei was rejected times by other guys? Only when Naite appears, that he starts to make a move & try to compete with Naite. Now, it’s just about the timing & Zhong Shi was late.
Naite on the other hand is programmed, but he is slowly transforming to be human-like. Noticed the scene when Xiao Fei & Zhong Shi play with the little girl, & Naite knows his shortcomings. He turned back & stopped following them. Mini Naite totally disappears the next day. Naite’s becoming the real perfect boyfriend. Knowing his weakness, he left. He knows what’s good & bad for her. He doesn’t force her to do things that she dislikes, to eat the food that she hates. He knows what is fair competition & has never done any trick to get Xiao Fei though they are living together everyday. What more can a girl ask for? However, the main issue here is Naite’s self-confidence. Unlike Zhong Shi, Naite back offs really fast!
Nite just felt SAD because he knew he could never give Xiaofei children. almost all humans have this feeling that children COMPLETE a family, without them, something is just MISSING! that was why many people resort to insemination or adoption just so they can have children.
Yes, I totally agree that Nightly does have low-self confidence and tends to back off very easily; however, it can be a good thing and a bad thing. From my perspective, I think that Nightly is very considerate and tends to always put Xiao Fei’s happiness beyond all things, even if it means leaving her. If leaving and letting go of Xiao Fei will give her happiness, Nightly will leave without a question. From Nightly’s perspective, nothing is more than Xiao Fei’s happiness. If Xiao Fei is happy and blessed then Nightly will be happy for her as well even if they are separated . . . and this is what I considered as pure love . . . to always put your loved ones happiness above everything else.
The story is getting so intriguing . . . Nightly was actually a replica of an individual who Xiao Fei refers to as “big brother,” in which she has once met when she was younger. It just makes the story so much more romantic. Can’t wait for the next episode.

Agree with both of you, Guest and JC. I must say a person who try to change another person for her benefit is not accepting of her faults.ZS is too controlling and does not give space to XF to gain self-confidence. True love is accepting of a person’s good and bad points.At this stage it does not matter who is better, it is a matter of the heart, and who XF has feelings for. I am glad to see XF stood up for herself and follow her heart. She may have chosen the more difficult path, but at least she has the courage to be true to her heart and was honest with ZS.
This drama is really well-written.

actually if xiao fei constantly rejects zhongshi for some robot, I think he’s better off letting her go and find some other girl. THEN she’ll probably realise how sweet, loving, caring and supportive he is. I mean hes way too good for her at this point if she chooses a robot over him when everyone knows the logical and better one out of the two is zhongshi.
maybe they should’ve introduced a 2nd female character (I wonder why they didnt? unless her best friend counted as one) so xiao fei will realise how hard it is to find a gem like zhongshi!! <3

follow up.i mde a mistake. the lab guys noticed something in the circuits while they were repairing him which was not system-programmed so they wanted to correct it by touching the circuits but whe they did so, Nite automatically reset himself. he was resisting to be touched and changed.

zhi xi was alluding to herself as a “robot” because she felt impossible to love a man because of her burns on her body. yet, she and sky got together at the end. this was acknowledged by zongshi who said ” at the end, the robot and the man fall in love”( watch part 4 , 4:30-4:40 ).
is this an insinuation that there is a chance for xiaofei(person) and ni-te(robot) to be together at the end too? i am crossing my finger of this possibility.although i am rooting for ni-te, i am not against zongshi and xiaofei team at the end. i am ready of this obvious ending.

Ni-Te was resisting to be reset because he did not want his memories of xiaofei to be lost. he was showing more humane-like qualities and not merely as an automaton waiting to be told to do as commanded. he was creatied in the image of the BigBrother whom she met when she was a child. the big brother was the deceased son of the owner of Kronus Corporation.
