After getting kicked out from their 24th school for starting fights and couldn't find another school that would accept them, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei thought it's a God send that Liu Bei proposed to be their sworn brothers so they could enroll into the prestigious Dong Han Shu Yuan, a school exclusively for royalty, on the condition that they pay for his tuition. Though they enrolled, it didn't mean they attended the class in peace because they must survive the school's death traps and hostile invasion from warring schools.

    1(1/2) = 1/2; (1/2)(1/3) = 1/6; 1/2 – 1/6 = 1/3

    I think 周瑜 (and the producers) did what I did in my previous comment lol (which we can ignore now :P) Thanks for the clarifications! And I guess 周瑜 isn’t all that 无可救药的聪明? XD

    If you pay attention to the wording from 5:25 – 5:35. At least based on the wording, they meant after DouZhuo, Cao has 1/2 left. AND THEN, Yuan Shao took away 1/3 of the 1/2 that was left.

  272. [YT] Cao Cao had 1- (1/2) = 1/2 left after Dong Zhuo became prime minister. Then he had (1/2) – (1/3) = (3/6) – (2/6) = 1/6 left after Yuan Shao. That means before his dad took the rest, he still had 1/6 of his assets left, or 5/6 of it gone, so Zhou Yu is right.

  275. [YT] I’m not sure if Zhou Yu will realize in the next few parts (haven’t watched them yet), but his math is wrong.
    1 – 1/2 – (1-1/2)1/3 = 1/3;
    so CaoCao has 1/3 of his original assets left.
    2/3 of his initial assets are gone, not 5/6.
