The makeup on actresses in this drama is really bad. Very unnatural.look at luo yun, she is much prettier in zhong wu yan. She looks like opera actress here. And even lee er, she is so much prettier in dream girls. Her makeup is just so thick here. Think very old fashioned makeup here.

why did they start putting those fake eyelashes on yie jie (annie)??!! she sure doesn’t need it and it’s distracting, makes me think of spiders on her face ugh! I loved how they had her styled as a natural beauty who doesn’t need the extras like fashionable clothes and make up and fancy hairstyles, it only highlighted how different she was from luo yun…one thing i’m glad abt though is how she now wears pants rather than those shorts even to the office (in winter no less!)…
I really really hope they stop putting it on her and go back to the minimal makeup look…I saw the previews and she was even wearing it to bed! kinda ridiculous…
sorry, it’s a pet peeve, lots of actresses in asian dramas are doing it now and it looks so fake…
