the girl is a “xiao-san”(mistress) in the making. she knows that her boss is already engaged to meile, still she invites him to her birthday celebration. i gather it is only the 2 of them celebrating!
cyndi doesn’t look angry even if she should get angry…. maybe, it’s the way she talks, so gentle voice….but the tole fits her here because she is supposed to be GENTLE AND KIND here.
mike he’s voice, the way he speaks, seems like jerry yan’s. his role here reminds me of daomingse’s meteor garden….very arrogant, tactless, uncaring. mike he is also perfect for this kind of role. i don’t care if he is typecast, as long as his role catch my fancy, it’s all right.
did he change the doorbell? part 1 ( around 10:30). the doorbell sound was not the song”wakeup,wakeup”.but a simple “ding dong” sound.

a. why did they cast Cyndi as the main character? She’s the worst. Terrible actress and quite fake.

what’s wrong with actors from china? if actors from tw can work in china, why not vice versa? having different accents in one drama is quite interesting to my opinion.

I think Mike should try taking up a few different roles, not always playing the stereotypical idol drama lead. Because his roles are getting pretty repetitive, and his acting is too.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Mike. But it’s something he should consider throughout his career to improve and breakthrough.
i agree, he always plays the arrogant, hard-to-handle, tough guy :/ it’d be cute if he played someone with the total opposite character! xD now THAT’d be interesting to watch, esp if it’s MIKE. hahaha
