AHHHH… They took away my favourite plot in the whole story!! The one where ZiWei had to leave Er Kang after his mum talked to her… It was one of the most touching scene when he found her!!
when ruby lin acted as zi wei, when she said ‘shan wu leng , tian di he, cai gan yu jun jue’ to er kang, i remember i felt sooo touched. its from her eyes, from her gaze.
i think the new casts are ok, just not the girl acting as zi wei because shes jus not pretty and elegant enough, and i cant see ‘life’ in her eyes.
It took me 1 episode to get used to the new cast, but once I did I realized.it’s funny and enjoyable drama! HZGG storyline is priceless.
The girl who plays Xiao Yan Zi looks a lot like Zhao Wei, although after a few episodes she becomes equally adorable as her own character. I’m not so sure about Yongqi (5th prince) yet since his character didn’t get as much development as Benjamin. The love triangle seems like it’s gonna be gooood *hopes*
i took quite a few episodes to get used to it.. even now after 15 episodes, i am still trying.. because to me old cast is better and nothing can replace that. i love the storyline of HZGG and therefore willing to watch it even if it is different cast. 🙂

i love 5阿哥 & 小燕子 together. they look so cute. I dont really like 尔康and紫薇 couple. they look weird together.
i actually like 爾泰better LOL i think he would suit 爾康’s character betterr
I agree =) This Er Tai’s personality feels similar to the Old Er Kang’s… His build is also much better as Er Kang.. The actual Er Tai in the novel is a bit playful, but this Er Tai feels more mature, just like the old Er Kang and in the novel. However the new Er Kang is more handsome, he just doesn’t steal the limelight like the old Er Kang used to…
