what yong qi said at 12:15, he should’ve realize that when he was outside the palace..there’s never freedom in a palace, it’s a restricted place. 🙁 overall this series was amazing, bought many tears to my eyes and laughter and a whole bunch of things. I could really feel the love and family/friendship love in this series.
What I didn’t like was just how could yong qi have “did it” with xr…I hate her the most and yong qi’s mom. I understand her love for her son but why couldn’t she be understanding and accept the girl he loves? In the end, it’s always the parents..yong qi had to make a hard decision you guys, as a prince, he have duties to his country ’cause he might be the future emperor and there’s a lot of things he had to deal with with xyz, his mom and xr’s baby…I think what he did was good as a son..I know him abandoning his son is bad and all but if I had a baby and it’s with some guy I hate, I wouldn’t be able to love the child..it would be difficult. If I had to I would raise him but only if the guy doesn’t want the baby right? but in yong qi’s case, xr and his mom wants the baby so..(if it was me, I would leave it to them to take care of too and go to the one I love too) btw…knowing it’s xr’s baby..I hate that baby already -.- lol it wasn’t all that bad of a ending, I just feel really bad for benji. wish he could’ve stay but it will be hard for him. Yes, a scene with all 10 of them would be nice, it would be less lonely for the wifes while the husbands go work and stuff, I mean they could’ve live closer together, just not in the palace lol everyone’s happy except for benji…I thinnk the emperor would’ve like it if everyone of them stay in the palace too but noo yong qi’s mom had to be “not” understanding mom. -___- sigh it was all fun in the beginning and happy living peacefully in the palace but some people just have to ruin it all…

I wish the ending could be better than this. I wish to see a scene where all 10 friends gather.
好捨不得斑鳩~論付出.他不輸給永琪.
但.也許是種緣分吧!緣分盡了.自然有人必須離開.
否則斑鳩待在那裡.天天看著燕琪兩人親親愛愛.應該也會有點難過吧!
這樣的結局沒什麼不好.只是有點可憐綿億~畢竟它是無辜的丫!
只不過我個人蠻希望瓊瑤阿姨在加點後續的.例如燕子和紫薇兩姐妹在次見面…等等~

Seeing Benji leave is really saddening. He deserves XYZ more than YQ does.
The purpose of YQ leaving for 2 years is redundant. He returned to the 2 abandoned ones just to ‘create’ a 3rd abandoned person. It’s an irresponsible act altogether isn’t it? Abandoning his newborn son? Isn’t he going to feel even more guilty for his remaining years…?
But I supposed this is the ‘appropriate’ ending somehow in order not to make XYZ and Benji look bad.
If only Benji had made a move first before YQ..
Sigh. Poor Benji.
Ending was not bad, but i really had to pity benji and yongqi had to give up what they have.
I like this NHZGG! The storyline is not so serious but rather humorous and that makes it interesting to watch….. Although I agree that the ending is incomplete as a lot of things was fast-forward but overall this show is Great! I really hope Qiong Yao will continue the story…..
i think a majority of us hates this ending, and i can list down all the common problems:
YQ marrying XR before XYZ
YQ returning just to have a baby with XR and then abandoning his own son (it makes me feel really dirty)
no wedding between YQ and XYZ
all 10 of them did not reunite, especially ZW and XYZ
too many Benji and XYZ scenes
Benji leaving quietly
YQ making XYZ wait for too long
but after i’ve calmed down about the disgusting bed scene, i actually thought for a while and realised that there’s always another way to look at things.
firstly, i didn’t really care much about Benji as YQ and XYZ were always the OTP to me. i thought that the appearance of Benji was unnecessary and he’s always butting in and saying “you have to include me”. even though people here comment that he’s such a poor thing but i feel as though his acting did not move me, and sometimes i don’t really feel his pain. even during the reunion of YQ and XYZ, i felt awkward watching the entire scene as Benji stood in the background watching them hugging and kissing. he’s always appearing too excessively in YQ and XYZ scenes that it infuriates me because i want more scenes of their love, instead of mentioning Benji all the time. even at the end, XYZ talked about Benji being part of their bird family, not knowing that he had already left.
secondly, the show is being realistic when YQ returns to have baby with XR. i hate his mother but when i put myself in his shoes i realise that my love for my parents may equal my romantic love for someone else. furthermore, people in that era are naturally more filial. giving his mother a grandson is the only way he could think of to leave in peace, and not worry about his mother all the time. after all he planned to leave for good, and imagine if you were to not see your parents ever again, you would act on the most desperate measure to make up to them one last time.
lastly, the lack of a wedding and reunion of all 10 people is unnecessary because this remake is being more realistic than the old series. in life it’s rather impossible for everyone to be together in the end when each person has already assumed their own responsibilities and chosen the path in their lives. a wedding is not necessary as all we need to affirm is YQ’s love for XYZ. i think that it’s already a blessing that he left the palace and reunited with XYZ in the end, because in reality they are two people from different worlds and different social standings – their love is supposedly impossible to begin with.
i’ve been watching this remake as though it’s an entirely different series, so i won’t compare it with the old one. it has its own merits, and i actually think that the actors here are pretty great and their acting skills may even surpass that of the old series. speech is more natural here as most of them use their natural voices while the old one had more actors with their voices dubbed. the scenery and landscapes are also really pretty in the remake. there are also moments where i laughed a lot and also scenes which moved me. overall it’s not too bad of a series and it angers me whenever people criticize it heavily.
i hate this stupid ending! it doesn’t even make sense! benji was with XYZ longer then YQ did and did more caring things for XYZ then YQ,but in the end XYZ chose YQ other than benji and the ending forced benji to leave!!! i hate you YQ! YQ didn’t even cared about XYZ only always became jealous when XYZ was with benji,he should be known as jealousy man instead of wu ah ge.

btw, when zi wei is going to get married. lao fo ye told her to come visit her, because qinger and xyz is not in the palace anymore, she will be lonely. but she didnt mention xin rong. this must show that lao fo ye loves ziwei, xyz and qinger more than the prostitute
its like everybody is not together. shi quan shi mei da jia zu, liu liu da shun, huang shan, ling fei, lao fo ye, everybody should be together at the end and be happy. why cant the ending be like that?! But some people belongs to the palace, some people rather be outside of the palace. Reality is cruel
i really like the new hz gege. it is really refreshing, interesting, n somehow tugs the heartstrings of youngsters more?
i only enjoy the I and II part of HZGG (the first one / 1997-1999 )
when QY make the III part, bammmm.. its worst.. the story is weird, too much, and its just not good

結局又證明了一個新時代的完結.新環珠格格播得太快啦..瓊瑤阿姨毫無保留地一口氣拍完..好捨不得一眾演員..我不想大家把新環珠格格就這樣的忘掉..沒有人去討論.對我來說..這不單單是部劇..它是倍我長大的一部經歷時代的劇場. 可惜這結局太現實了..如果加多一個三年後十全十美全聚在一起大家也快快樂樂..那不是很好嗎? 哎…不過這結局..應該可以叫做缺陷美吧…..(;

He left all alone and left with sorrows. Whatever he had done for xiao yan zi, i really feel touch. He always 24 hour protects and love xiao yan zi. Even though he know xiao yan zi dont like him. I am really touch by what he did. This shi quan shi mei is not full anymore. Cause ban jie min has left :'( But his go back his country is a good choice. Cause no one will call him yang gui zi. And he belongs to that country.
Hai, finally finish this show. Too bad the ending wasn’t that perfect after all, hope that everyone can live happily ever after. Ban Qv can have a wife in his country and i was wondering if zi wei will ever see xyz again….. Ah,can only imagine the perfect ending. 😀
Well, Ban Jie Min was extra from the beginning! There is no such person during that period of time! Although he protects XYZ, but, well, he is still an extra, right? XYZ was supposed to be with YQ! But i think that in the end Ban Jie Min should found his partner. That will be a perfect ending. 🙂
Although wu ah ge and xiao yan ji get together. But ban jie min left :'( I cried really hard. He stayed beside xiao yan ji when yong qi not here. He protect her and make her laugh. ut in the end, he get nothing and left quietly. I felt so pity for him :'(

我剛剛看完了瓊瑤阿姨寫的那最後一篇文 有些感想要說一說
我說永燕一開始就寫錯的離譜!!
一開始小燕子因真假格格式件被關~永琪要去營救前與他母親說的那些話根本就註定了愚妃不會接受小燕子的結果!!
再來!!我也了解愚妃絕對不能死!!死了永燕就結束!!所以我從沒說「讓愚妃就麼死了吧!」
阿姨說他不是像我們表面上看到的的那樣以死相逼是真的想死!!是因為是去永琪兒想死!!那為什麼他醒來的第一句話不是說「永期別離開我!!永遠都不要拋棄額娘!!」而是說「取欣榮」??不是我們認為他已死相逼!!你想如果真如阿夷所說他是因為失去永琪所以想死那為什哦醒來會說這樣的話??(是以死相逼就已死相逼有什麼好不承認的??)
還有我們生氣得不是永琪回不回宮盡孝!!而是愚妃他說這樣思念兒子還不如當初上吊死了!!!
他又一次的已死相逼!!!不珍惜生命!!!
再來阿姨又說這部戲婚禮很多永燕不需要!!因為重逢後一定會有婚禮!!他怕再寫也寫的不夠好不夠完美!我想說的是!!這部戲叫做「還珠格格」所以其他人的婚禮根本不重要也不需要演!!!最重要的是永燕的婚禮!!!!!!!!!!!!就算只是一場平平凡凡的婚禮也好!!!
對於永燕的阻礙欣榮我沒有太多責怪!!因為有她 證明麼永燕的愛情鑑定…深刻!!!

i read it and i agreed with her completely. didn’t think they were excuses. she’s an author who writes what she feels and what she thinks is right and i admire that, instead of catering to tastes of other people just to have high viewership.

I thinhk about the sentence: there r a lot of likes LOVE. but the TRUTH LOVE is ONLY1. so Ben can not be the lover of XYZ, YQ con not love XR

I am still mad at this ending. This is all wrong. XYZ should be with Ben. Ben knows how to make her laugh and how to take care of her. I still think XYZ will be happier with Ben. YQ does not know anything. YQ should go back to his mother, his wife and his son.
but ben has no restrictions or constraints so he can freely show his affection without worrying what other ppl think…
anyway love is complicated sometimes we dnt choose the happy n easy relationship…

我覺得瓊瑤偏偏要寫這樣的結局無非是想宣傳愛情的力量重要於，根遠勝於責任！瓊瑤是想表揚這樣的做法，“你們看， 一個大清皇子為了愛情連江山都可以放棄！多偉大， 多感人！” 不完整和亁淨的男人配不上燕子！管他是艾琪還是永琪！我没为结局感动也没恍然大悟！剧里的人物和剧情百分之95％都是假的！到了永琪这儿就按历史来写！为啥不用其他阿哥呢？ 永琪和燕子在不在一起都是悲剧！有了妻室和儿子，还要和清白的燕子在一起！从人子到人父都是责任啊！我看了结局很多遍，只感叹琼瑶竟然没有妙计来给大家一个圆满又快乐的结果！
就算燕子是某夫人又怎樣，永琪是某丈夫都可以吃外面女人了，燕子也可以不用交代的紅杏出牆阿。雖然不可能

Personally, I feel everything in the last episode could’ve been stretched to become another 10 episodes. Everything moved too fast! ): I wanted to see more!
But nonetheless, I cried when YQ came. Such a moving scene! Love the old HZGG, love the new HZGG. Brings back fond memories <3

舊版還珠格格沒有瑜妃娘娘這個角色為什麼們新的要加瑜妃這個角色呢?雖然我看舊版的故事跟新版還珠格格故事大部分劇情都是一樣的唯一不一樣的就是就是詠琪沒跟小燕子成婚，還要筱燕子等兩年才相逢
那要寫乾脆就寫一的不然就寫詠琪跟小燕子從逢然後後續發展會發生什麼事，然後寫詠琪跟小燕子相逢然後給小燕子另類婚禮，這樣才不會網費小燕子等兩年半的約定啊!而什麼都沒有只是相逢就覺得這個就比舊還珠格格劇情差!而我覺得舊還珠格格都比新的還好看!而他有跟詠琪在一起。而舊版的至少還有皇上幫小燕子辦婚禮心的就只是從縫而已，不然就寫跟舊版一樣上錯花叫這是最好玩的戲碼也不錯啊!!

晴兒卻連道別的話都沒說到 就跟著蕭劍去大理 不像是個孝順的女生
而蕭劍如果真是喜歡晴兒 在南陽的時候就跟著晴兒回去了
最後場面是大家相聚快樂的慶祝 孩子們在一旁玩 我會覺得完美很多!!!!

Well, I finished this episode despite knowing that the ending isn’t
perfect after reading some comments. Turned out that it wasn’t as bad as
I’d thought. In fact, I thought that ending with Xyz/5’s reunion +
Benji’s departure was acceptable — it’s a relationship; someone has to
leave at some point of time. Furthermore, Benji returning to Britain
sounds good too! He had enough wild adventures in China. However I always
thought that Benji popping up in almost every scene was kinda too much,
almost overwhelming. Especially during the Xyz/5 reunion, his sad and
lonely departure was the focus instead.Speaking of 5, isn’t it a
very risky bet to gamble your freedom on a son? I mean, you can’t
command your wife to give you a son. What if all she got were daughters
instead? Besides, leaving your mom, wife, and kid right after he’s born
is just irresponsible. How is that fillial? I don’t get it. It’s like a
vicious cycle. After 5 leaves the palace, Xr is going to be a Yf part 2.
This part, not very reasonable.Oh and. The reunion. 5’s back
with Xyz and they’re going to live happily ever after. Yay. But wait!
I’m pretty sure 5 never exactly told Xyz that the 2 years in the palace
was to conceive Xr with a son. All he told her was that he wanted to
fulfil his mother’s “hope”, and he never showed her the letter from his
mother either. So what now? 5’s making Xyz more and more like the third
party now that he has a son with Xr. If he chose to hide that from Xyz,
it’s gonna be a bigger blow if say, years later, his son came to seek
his daddy.To sum it up, it was rushed, but many other shows have
rushed endings too, so it wasn’t a huge issue for me. Actors’ acting
were mostly good too. I like the Qe/Xj couple just like many other
commenters cos’ they are just so cute together, the Zw/Ek couple had
some really scandalous dialogues at the beginning
but they were really sweet in the end, and the absence of Xyz/5’s
marriage was disappointing because I liked the mixed-up brides’
marriages in the original HZGG2 hehe.
It’s been 2 months! I would be missing this. Maybe I should start
rewatching the originals now, cos’ this brought back so many childhood
memories. 😀

I just feel like if Qiong Yao liked Benjamin so much, you might as well put him together with Xiao Yan Zi. Throughout this entire series, I’ve never felt like Xiao Yan Zi should be with Yong Qi. Benjamin is there so much, and it really does seem like that Xiao Yan Zi noticed him more, and cared about him more, than she did Yong Qi.
Moreover, this ending just so completely ruins Yong/Wei. Their happiness is based not only on Xin Rong’s broken heart (which she deserves because she did push herself on Yong Qi), Yu Fei’s broken heart (which she doesn’t deserve because she just wants what’s best for her son, it’s just that her definition of what’s best is different from what Yong Qi’s definition is), Mian Yi’s growing up without a father (I always thought this was about the most irresponsible thing Yong Qi could do, even in Tian Shang Ren Jian), and Qian Long’s unfulfilled hopes for Yong Qi (Screw history, you’re writing a fictional story, and if you really stuck to history, Benjamin and Lang Jiao Shou wouldn’t exist anyway), but also Benjamin’s (Yong Qi’s and Xiao Yan Zi’s best friend!) broken heart. How are they going to be happy when they have to carry so much guilt with them for the rest of their lives? Knowing that their happiness is built on so many people’s heartbreak?
Xin Rong was a mistake, and Qiong Yao should have learned from Zhi Hua. And if this is the ending that Benjamin gets, then he was a mistake, too.
I agree with you. I feel that YQ did not do anything for XYZ to get her love while Benji done a lot more for XYZ. It feels like YQ just gave XYZ a lot of heartbreak.

很顯然的是瓊瑤加了班傑明這個角色，到尾巴卻不知道要怎麼處理這個多出來的角色，所以一走了之草草交代，果然是失去水準了
在晴兒的微博上看到可能有剪戲，因為電視版比網路版的多二三十分鐘，所以最後那樣子的結束，感覺上有點倉促，搞不好是剪戲剪到那樣，粗糙的結尾

If i were to make the ending of nhzgg , I would make there a wedding seane between yq and xyz , and Benjamin going back to the palace to be the artist that he is , then a few months later , for everyones children to be born, and all of them go back to the palace for a visit. And come back to da li afterwards and continue living . THE END .

Voted the worst and most unrealistic ending ever. When i say ending, i meant from ep 90+ onwards where yq decided to go back to have a child with xr for the sake of his mum, i agree he should be filial but not this way, sacrificing 2 women(xr&xyz) and a child to please your mum, this is way to ridiculous for me to accept. In the Qing dynasty it is common for women to remarry especially xr had not consummate her marriage with yq previously. This is proven in hzgg3 where the emperor wanted zhihua to remarry(w mianyi) but she refused. Then they made up this benjamin character who is so participative in the show but in the end, he doesn’t have a good ending, leaving all fans feeling heartbroken for him. I think i can live without the remake. Just when i thought hzgg3 was bad, this is worst. Perhaps its a drama made to allow us to appreciate the writer’s effort of hzgg3 after everyone condemn it. haha.
i think you’re too harsh. the writer wants to remake bcuz she wants people to relive the hzgg times. i do agree the ending is not complete, and the part where yq goes back to make a baby and thats all, it was ridiculous, yes.
but i think its not as bad as hzgg3. hzgg3 was bad, unless u view it as a series on it’s own, not a continuation from hzgg1 and hzgg 2. nhzgg has it’s own good points, more fun and laughter, and a smarter xyz. afterall, the whole series cant be only filled with the way we viewers wants it to be, right? only when there are sad times that the happy moments would stand out more. ultimately the writer made the ending a happy one for yq and xyz, thou the alternative ending would be xyz tell yq to go back to xr and then xyz ends up with benji. but that would cause alot of heart breaks too.. oh well..
anw, i think its a good idea to have this remake, thou it definitely cannot replace hzgg1 and hzgg2, at least it made up for the messy hzgg3. thus at least its 3 seasons in 1 instead of 1and 2 then a 3rd season with diff actors, messing up everything.

If the other couples in this series were able to have a complete love why not YQ and XYZ? If Qiong Yao was aiming for the people born after the 90’s she made a bad mistake. The way the story goes it showed that it’s okay to elope with your lover and leave your wife, son and parents. And it also advocates bigamy.
The moment YQ succumbs to his mother’s threat, everything is lost. The legitimate lover became the outcast and the third party in their relationship.!!

Ok, the ending was not as bad..but of course, its not perfect too. This remake was good, but apparently, i feel tat it doesn’t really achieve the happy theme tat Qiong Yao claimed to have. Alot of times, it gave me the feeling tat benji is the main lead instead of the rest..I cannot deny tat benji actually adds in colours to this drama, but too much emphasis seems to blur the focus of the drama.
However, juz wanna say tat, i really enjoyed this new remake..all the actors and actresses have done well & they deserve a round of applause. To me, the old version is a classic which can never be replaced, and its rather unfair to compare it with this remake. Lets appreciate their efforts & thanks for the accompany all these while! =)
actually i think benji is there to ‘spice’ things up. yeah he appears too much, but hes like the ‘narrator’ thats in the series, like there to ’round’ everything up. haha
Yea, I get the point of Benji, but I really did not the choice of adding in a foreign character. Why did he use so much English if he knew no one understands English (and his Chinese is so good anyways). And I felt much of the violin playing was really out of place and unnecessary (like the chicken thing). He was just kinda of extra.
But overall, I really liked this remake! It was so good to relive the hzgg series again. I got to see some scenes that I still remember from the original as well as some new twists.

The new version has many new scene that are better and more beautiful. Some of it definately touched us in many ways. Really like the new portrayal of qing er and xiao jian. Also other characters are more well developed. I personally like Qing er very much.
However am really dissapointed with many classic scene being cut out and replaced. Introduction of Benjamin character make the plot more interesting but his appearance and screen time is juz a little too much. He not only appear in every important scene and also give me a feel that he replace many important storyline in the movie. i totally agree wit some of the comments that he sort of ruin the portrayal of friendship btw xyz and zw, yq and er kang, er tai and every1 (sort of replaced him) and also romance btw xyz n yq. Many scene were ruined due to his sudden pop out of no where. No offence but it seems that he is really heavily promoted here.
The ending seems a bit rushed and undeveloped. I do feel sorry for Benjamin at last but I think its better not to show him all sad instead ready for a new life and adventure elsewhere. Afterall, due to his appearance in every scene, every episode, everywhere till the end!!, NHZGG can be renamed Benjamin Adventure with Friends. Regardless, this new remake is worth a new point of view n nice scenery. Good work to the production team for bringing us down memory lane

i totally agree with you how Benjamin’s character ruins the relationship between xyz and zw, er kang and yq. There were many times where i wished xyz should have talk with zw about things instead of Benjamin. That’s why in this series, I was not able to see how “deep” xyz’s relationship with zw is. Anyway, this series was alright since i thought a lot of new scenes were funny and entertaining, but I do agree with everyone else that the ending was a mess.
P.S. I really enjoyed listening to the music they all sang and played throughtout the drama. It was awesome!
Well, the ending is still not as perfect as I thought, but it is good enough to end like this.
Through out the story, I guess 小燕子 and 勇 has the most rough relationship than the other couples. In order to be together, they need to get approval from 勇’s mother, king and the king’s mother. Imagine yourself living in the Qing Dynasty, could you persuade those people who believe they have the power to control other people’s destiny? I think both of them did a good job to overcome those obstacles and still to stay together along the way.
Of course, 勇’s departure make me feel uncomfortable too because he has to go back and produce a heir for his mother and wife. On a second thought, he has no other option as well. As a son, he can’t ignore the mother’s feeling. Although she acts a bit unreasonable in the scenes (the suicide part), she’s still a mother to him. If we love someone, we don’t want that person to suffer because of us. I guess, both of 小燕子 and 勇 already recognized this point, that’s why they agree to depart for two years. Life is not perfect, we need to take tradeoff most of the time.
For Benji, I totally love this character. He is opened mined, friendly, kind heart – a complete role model for anyone to learn. Although his leaving makes me feel sad too, he knows exactly when to let go of the relationship. He’s done it beautifully in this part. Even though he has strong feeling toward 小燕子, she doesn’t need to accept his love. Yes, you might think I’m crazy or what…such a good guy, anybody (I meant girls) would love to have. When you’re truly in love, your heart doesn’t have the space left for another person – no matters how good or bad that person is. I guess the writer really wants to demonstrate this point. When people ask 小燕子 to forget 勇 because he misses the deadline for the promise, it’s not worth it to wait for him anymore. Is the two-year promise really matter? If that person is worth it, I don’t think we care about the time frame as long as we can be together. What I want to point out is the word “persistent”. Let say at the end, 小燕子 and Benji are together because she feels touch when Benji’s done all those things to her. What if, for some reasons, Benji needs to go back to his country for one or two years. Another X guy does the same things like Benji was doing while 勇’s away. Is that mean 小燕子 has to pick X guy for the same reason? If you were Benji, 勇 and X guy, do you want a girl like this? That’s not persistent. The ending of this movie really expresses the true love of 小燕子 and 勇, and their persistent over each other.
ok that was abrupt. haha.. and after 98 episodes they leave us hanging there. i liked this series because there was a greater focus on xyz and yongqi but why no wedding scene 🙁

同意！我還覺得原版的還珠格格還比較實際呢。為了盡孝而生子？生子后有拋棄自己的孩子和已經圓房的妻子？這對小燕子，綿憶和欣蓉都不公平吧。真討厭！看了這部戲后反而更加希望小燕子和benjamin在一起！
相較之下永琪真的配不上小燕子!!

而且我要說:新還珠格格本來有所期待，不過我覺的舊的結局都比新還珠格格結局還要好至少舊的還珠格格三，最後詠琪跟小燕子在一起還有小孩，新的只是從逢而已這叫真心相愛嗎?就覺得筱燕子等待是值得的嗎?不然把新的跟舊的比我會比較喜歡舊版的因為他們有後續發展，而新的連後續發展都沒了，讓我局的很失望比舊的結局還要濫啊!
I think the author is preparing the script for the next NHZGG. because she said on her blog that zw&erkhang still have long way to go, maybe xyz & yq will go to england to find Benjamin, hahaha~~ what a dream. But I still love this story(although I hate some of the scenes and story line), but reminding myself if without that most hated comment your all said, the whole story line will be very boring.

There was a scene where YQ said that it had already been 6 months but XR still wasn’t pregnant. So it was 6 months+ already before anything happened. So up to MY being a month old is was already 17+ months.
我覺得此劇的宣傳忽略了其他好的演員 例如邱心志,這位皇阿瑪角色,須知他的戲份也很多,分别只是小燕演的是吵吵鬧鬧,皇阿瑪演的是内心戲,萬分期望國内的電視製作人,不要太商業化,埋没了好演員和他的努力演出,所謂”牡丹須好,也要綠葉扶持” 此劇給我印象最深的是邱心志,期待他的電影孫中山先生上演

I think i cried the most not because of any of the reuniting of 永燕… its mainly because of Benjamin… who would have thought that the character that i questioned the most in the beginning would make me cry my first and last tears for this drama… my heart truly broke for him… especially when you see how upset he is while 永燕 are happily enjoying life with each other again… i guess thats life isn’t it?…

Nope at least to me she didn’t destroy the 永燕 couple. i still like this show! it has good parts that the older version doesn’t! i bet you don’t see all the sweet and loving parts of 永燕 in the old version of huan zhu!
this is the best ENDING ever!! 100% happy endings are for people living in fairy tales! these are the chooses they make, and they live with it. Thank you qiong yao aunt for remaking this awesome drama! hope to see more of your dramas in the future! I still hope one day i will have a chance of watching remake of 梅花三弄.haha but you need to find an actress as pretty as 陳德容 first. 梅花烙’s ending was the best because it was SAD! so sad when i was a kid watching it, i cried for days, the impact of it still touch me till this day!
That’s exactly the point..this is suppose to be a fiction and a fairy tale because Huan Zhu Ge Ge never existed in history and neither were the rest of the cast except Qian Long, the 5th prince and those of the imperial family…so this is considered a fairy tale..The names were just borrowed from history, nothing more.The whole story is so muddled up and at the end a cliff-hanger…in times like these, we need fairy tales to help us through the harshness and reality of life…! hehehe..to escape and have a respite from this world, that’s why we watch movies..!! To be able to have the luxury of living in fantasy for a short period of our life..hehehe..!!

說重拍為的是要讓觀衆一愉快的心情看這部快樂的劇。快樂什麽啊。結局這樣。劇情這樣不合理。憤怒成分比較多吧，因爲滿懷期待卻又是一個大大大大的敗筆。說不會虧待班，結果呢。這就是您所謂的不虧待班嗎? 讓他孤獨地回國?之前說會給蕭劍一個不同上次的結局，到最後還不是一樣他們家沒有回北京，在過著草民的生活。什麽不一樣的結局?
一直重復班對5說如果5對不起燕，他要把她帶到沒有人找到他們的地方。結局都播完了，哪有????
燕那時候在南陽的臺詞說要回去喝康薇的喜酒。哪有?????
説話不算話原來是瓊瑤婆婆的特色。
最後只有永琪還迫不及待地想見到燕，紫薇也沒有想要和燕重逢(懷孕歸懷孕，可是應該說你和燕一定要回來看我們啊之類的，或者寫信保持聯絡也比較合理吧)，原來姐妹情深是時間能破壞的。其他十全十美根本就是把燕給忘了吧，都沒人提起過她了，連才子美女們都比他們更重感情的說。
順便說一下 不關主題的是….Makiyo的新歌 “Wake Up. wake up WAKE WAKE UP!” 不是新歌…是翻唱的….
Benjamin so sad.. ): The story will always have one person who will be the one suffering. I was still expecting Xiao Yan Zi and Benjamin to be together, then everyone will have one partner.
I knew I should have stopped watching it at Episode 92, but the I still did just to see how bad Auntie Qing Yao can come up for the ending. And I applaud her. She can earn an award in making the “Worst Ending for TV Drama”.
Couple of points I want to point out.
1) If there’s already 90+ episodes available for the story to wrap up, then heck give us a better ending! I won’t mind another 30 minutes of extending the last episode if the ending can be wrapped up in a much better and detailed way.
2) It seems as if Auntie Qing Yao has trouble writing a happy ending for her most famous novel ever, now and 8 years? ago for HZGG 3. It seems as if she invites us (audiences) all into her wonderful happy world, puts us through laughter and tears, and dumps us in the most tragic, upsetting endings possible. She should know when to stop writing the endings and let other script writers take over.
3) It didn’t felt like an ending for XYZ and YQ. It’s the ending for Benjamin’s Journey to the Qing Dynasty. What XJ said before Benji left was sooo right, “one family member arrives, means another got to leave.”
PS on the side note: Can Auntie Qing Yao sell her rights to the novel and let other script writers take their stab at their perspectives? …like how all those Jing Yong novels are done??? That will be nice!! 🙂
Qing yao has her own perspective. I totally don’t agree how other writers can have stab at it because this is not other ppl story this is qing yao’s story. I mean other writers can give suggestions but the finished copy should still be qing yao. As well as if other writer take a stab at it its called plagiarism because they didn’t write the story qing yao did. So that is wrong.

皇上：懂人情世故，嚴而有性情。演員很讚!!
皇后：每次都聼容嬤嬤的，自己個人沒有什麽主見，愛裝無辜裝沒事。演員沒有往壞裏演，根本無法讓觀衆入戯。
太后：老糊塗的深宮老婦。做壞事不敢當，愛推卸責任，找替死鬼。用燒香拜佛來掩飾自己歹毒的一面。
令妃：還用說嗎。如果沒有這角色應該不用看了吧。演員超漂亮有氣質的!!!
欣榮：性感内衣代言人(我不信她在這部劇之後沒有内衣廠商來找她代言)，整部劇她通常都是穿性感内衣。別人是”死了都要愛,不淋漓盡致不痛快”, 她則是”死了都要纏，不勾引上床不痛快”. 貪慕虛榮，一心想要當以後的皇后所以才纏著永琪。對於演員的評價是: 幹嗎接這角色啊!!!
永琪: 抛妻棄子私奔(that’s how he was portrayed at the end)，沒有個性的媽寳。演員很萌! 可是有時候演技待加強。
紫薇：其實跟以前的紫薇一樣。演員的演技把角色毀了一半。只會瞪大眼睛說台詞裝無辜。
爾康：比起以前的噁心肉麻很多。可是也很為燕子想，跟燕的關係也很好，不再只是不太熟的”妹夫”，不再是只袒護紫薇，只以紫薇為他的世界而不管其他人。跟永琪的兄弟情加強了很多。演員很會演激動戯碼。
小燕子：可憐蟲一個，帶給了很多人快樂，可是自己最悲傷，到最後每對都結了她也還沒有結婚。演員有時候自High演得很尷尬，不然的話是個很努力的演員，遍體鱗傷的也不抱怨。
班鳩：男一號。可是故事情節有他無他都可以，所以不知道他存在的意義是什麽。很多管閒事，很有空，很愛湊熱鬧，很重兄弟情，打架保護送信樣樣來的宮廷畫家。演員演得很棒!!!
In the end storyline is still the same. Yongqi still got one son with another woman. I was expecting some changes ..
wtf is with the ending? it may be ‘realistic’ to doubt xyz has moved on…but we’re not watching a drama to get realism…we watch it to see doubtless love between xyz and yq…and how can benji just leave like that…so so disappointed with this ending. 🙁
完的也太突然了吧！应该放一年后发生什么事，我中觉最后很赶很多事都没有说清楚！应该放多四集，例如小燕子结婚怀了孩子还见到紫薇和尔康吗！

WHAT THE HELL KINDA ENDING WAS THAT?! ugh, yes i always wanted the xyz and yong qi couple to be together but my heart is breaking in pieces for benjamin. i know that xyz cannot have both of them but wth?! this is not a happy ending for anyone. everyone is left in pieces and a halfway happy ending. benjamin doesnt get the one he loves but the one he loves finds her happiness. yong qi’s mom and xin rong is left with mian yi but also a runaway husband/son/father. zi wei is finally with erkang and happy but not reunited with xyz. xyz and yong qi are finally together but they don’t even marry/yuan fang/have kids. i know they are trying to be ambiguous and leave the ending open ended but what they hell? however i LOOOVED the new version. it made me laugh and cry soo much, like no drama has ever done before. but the ending is horrible. thank god this is not real life because my heart was breaking everytime they showed benjamin’s face. ):

他即沒有幫助燕進宮，也沒有虜獲燕的心。一直苦等到最後，認爲時間可以讓他有機會乘虛而入，期待永琪不會守信用(look at how sad and disappointed Benju is when he saw YQ appear at the field).
It would make sense IF Benju was the narrator and starts the story by, “不久以前我認識一個中國的傳奇女子，她就是還珠格格…” and then start the story like how it started.
看完整劇都不知道班爲何是主角, 連配角柳紅都找到高明了。班卻傷心離開。每一集都有班根本一點意義也沒有。
The ending would be much better IF Benju CLAPPED AND CHEERED when YQ embraced with XYZ and said “永琪你終于回來了。我的任務完成了!” and then closes scene. Rather than him leaving so sadly and writing the letter.
Hence, my previous comments proved to myself that Benji shows up too many times and for what? A crappy ending!

omgod, this story is so flawed. i know this is just a drama but what the hell is going to happen when mianyi grows up?! will he grow up kind and forgiving of his father? or will he hate his father for bringing him into a world where he is abandoned at birth? it is sad how one generations choices will effect the next generations to come… poor mianyi..
doesn’t matter, yong qi died(faked in this drama) 3years later, so the kid will only know his father died long time ago.
i think my fave character is the emperor! his heart is made of gold, definitely worth being the emperor. i think that if wu ah ge became emperor one day, he would be just like him. 🙂

at least the last hzgg ending was A LOT happier and every1 had their proper goodbyes -__- and at least xyz got to marry him before almond head got in the way -___-
At first i was ok with benjamin but because of him the bonds that xyz and yq and zw were cut. like benjamin was in every single episode and in every single scene. even one of the most important parts when xyz was supposed to draw that letter and let zw understand her instead they made benjamin draw it. I know every1 thinks it was sad that benji didnt end up with xyz but no matter how long he waited for her xyz only loved yq and yq only loved her but Qiong yao made benji so flawless it makes everyone not want xyz to be with yq =/ I loved this new hzgg but i wish they made zw and xyz’s sisterly bond closer cuz all i saw was benji and xyz’s bond which stripped away xyz and zw’s bond =/ the part that infuriated me was when xyz didnt attend zw’s wedding =/ Another thing is how they just threw er tai away -__________- when qiong yao made this new hzgg and said it was gonna be 70% different i guess she meant sabotaging yq and xyz’s love story with xin rong and benji and 70% was all about benji i felt like he was more of a main cast then every other guy and ziwei. like at the beginning they show benji before ziwei -__- Even thought i gotta say er kang was my favorite character here he outshone everyone 😀
and i forgot to mention yq and and er kang’s bond! in this one they didnt seem so close until the very end -___-
I like the old version how xyz and zw got married at the same time and they messed up the bride i think that was soooo much funnier and better.
yeah that’s sisterly love right there they wanted to share such a happy day/moment together

wow, that was some fast nine months for Xin Rong (o.o) but at least now Yong Qi fulfilled his mother’s wish of giving her a grandchild to hold and a continuation of their bloodline. Yong Qi can leave without regrets, though his baby will never know his father but that’s what Xin Rong gets for entering a forced marriage knowing the man’s heart is taken >.< (and I have to say xD why the heck was Xiao Yan Zi playing the violin on the E-string in 2nd position when the notes were all in the lower octaves xD lol, I know I know it was staged for the shooting haha) But…my heart broke for Benji when I saw the look on his face when Xiao Yan Zi dropped the Violin for Yong Qi T_T An expected ending but it could have been better :/

可惜不是應該有晴兒懷孕大肚子的畫面呢?出生以後晴兒的兒子呢??小太陽在那裡???好想要看到他樣子….好捨不得它結束呀…快哭了….只是結局還覺得不應該這樣結束呢…

結局爛透了!!!
1) 之前瓊瑤婆婆說不會虧待班，到頭來還不是他孤零零的一個人。浪費我們觀衆的期盼。
2) 永琪連一封信也沒有留給他額娘，説明爲何走，自己不孝blah blah blah. 他娘一定又寫信要他回來。
3) 永琪和小燕子重逢的那時候，爲什麽班要在那裏看著他們接吻啊, 超殘忍之餘也未免太大的電燈泡了吧?
4) 皇上有點不願意讓5走，還質疑燕會不會已經嫁給別人了。什麽嘛! 根本就是把他最疼愛的女兒給忘得一乾二淨了。皇上應該是說我也很想跟你一起去看看燕，可是大理太遠了，才比較合理。
5) 之前說會給蕭劍一個不同上次的結局，到最後還不是一樣他們家沒有回北京，在過著草民的生活。
6) 5 的眼睛是瞎了嗎，燕的髮型都看得出她還沒出嫁了，還在那裏某夫人某夫人的。
7) 寫的千千結說是每天要交換一封，到最後還不是把它們抛了。
8) 5在XR懷孕的時候都沒什麽感覺，只是高興快能見到燕了。生了也只慶幸是兒子可以起程了,根本就沒有對那孩子有任何的在乎或感情。可是最後卻在說兒子是他綿綿不斷的思念和牽挂… 再見了XR， 再見可愛的兒子。
9) 蕭劍沒有對班說珍重再見，後會有期之類的。就這樣讓他走了。
10) 5 竟然沒有跟十全十美說他要去找燕子了，好讓其他人寫信帶給燕子啊。他們其他人都愛死燕子了!!

I don’t know what was Qiong Yao’s main motive for re-writing the scripts for NHZGG…
I have to admit that I liked most of the cast in NHZGG more than the old version because everyone seemed to be fit for their characters that they portrayed (okiez, except for some)…
The starting was nice!! Some in fact better than the old version…
But yet some of the story I found it to be really draggy…
The worst was the ending… Crap…
It rushed to the max… No wedding for 小燕子 when 永其 promised his 有心有力 盡心盡力…
Although they had that kissing scenes… But it’s like 小燕子 is substituting for 欣榮…

the end is seriously a weird, like so many things are missing… was expecting a happy ending for everyone…but Benjamin was the only not happy one he doesn’t have a sweetheart like everyone else which made me sad…this can’t be the ending he should fine his sweetheart too…
Poor Benji. When YQ appear, like water splash on his face, Benji realize right away he have no hope left now, he have no choice but to accept the reality that XYZ never loved him. So painful… T_T
I can’t believe it’s finally over. No more long nights of no sleep to stay up watching this, no more tear-shedding scenes, no more Xiao Yan Zi’s cute antics… It’s all over. I feel like crying. Goodbye HZGG, until the next time we meet–when I watch you once more. XD

“天上人間”一次的敗筆不夠還要觀眾承受第二次.阿姨也太偉大了吧?
就已經是演戲的了.多少人還會在乎到歷史怎麼演變?
話都是瓊瑤你在講.觀眾的心聲和感受你根本不顧
我嚴重懷疑阿姨您的思想.觀念.能力
真的太奇怪太詭異了…
這部戲演員各各出色.相當完美漂亮.
但最大的敗筆就是出於劇情太可笑..失敗
結局就是冰清玉潔的小燕子配上一個有瑕疵的”艾琪”…失敗
尤其是加上”魚肥”和”腥肉”兩角…失敗中的失敗
聽說阿姨在微博上依然堅持己見
他似乎覺得他給我們的作品是漂亮的…
他還說是我們這些失望的觀眾跟他有距離?
看來瓊阿姨還是不懂得如何尊重粉絲…
把充滿希望的永燕迷徹底打入失望
相信我們有很多人..您也將會失去的乾乾淨淨!!!!!!!!!

這對我們觀眾不是有點殘忍嗎…?
斑鸠太太太多戏了吧！我的妈呀。以前看还好，可是结局里他也太多戏了吧，永燕只有10分钟，还要分一半给他，要不要干脆改片名就深情斑杰明好了！

The ending is too rush should put in zxy and yq married scene and at least have the emperor announce prince 5 has pass away. Then really got a proper ending for both of them. Goodness!! I so hope the director can at least film another 2 epsiode for a proper story ending.

wow finally the end! i think this whole new version of my fair princess did not disappoint me! much better than what i expected… when i first heard that they’re gonna make a remake, i’m like are you serious cuz the older version was such a classic… but i think this new version lives up to its standards too or else we wouldn’t be watching it till the end… i reckon all of them did a good job.. no need for comparison, just treat it as if it’s a new drama.
i wanna see part 2 though, so many ideas running through my mind.. hahaha, maybe a fiction like yongqi and xiaoyanzi returns to the palace, and he becomes a king.. hahaha, something like princess huai yu..

personally, i feel that this series’ back part is too rushed out, cuz they focused too much on the front. end up the back, which should’ve played a more important part, seemed rushed. maybe they should’ve extended the series if they couldnt squeeze everything into 98 episodes. or put less focus on the front and make the ending more complete… but sigh.. i guess nothing is perfect.

long-awaited wedding of YQ& XYZ 😡 about Benjamin I think if he loves XYZ and at the end he can see XYZ happy,he’ll be happy too because there is nothing better than the person which you love is happy even not with you.about XR(hate her) she doesn’t understand and never can understand what is love?what is happiness?…at the end she is a loser with YQ’s mum…Of course it’s not the ending which I want to see but I can see YQ&XYZ together and happy..Im so happyyyyyyyyyyyy too:x love YQ& XYZ
Although Benjamin gets annoying at times, but the part where Yong Qi reunites with Xiao Yan Zi is too sad for him. He spent 2 years if not more with Xiao Yan Zi, he deserves to have love, but doesn’t 🙁 This isn’t a good remake for that fact although some of the sequence have more depth, but the ending is just ehhhh like whatever is important is just thrown in the there the last minute.

I would say this new edition is abit long winded…. too details so it takes so many episodes to finish… however, the ending is really very very disappointing….. It doesn’t show how XR and YQ’s mother react when they found out and realised YQ actually came back and sacrificed for them…..The story is really well written and very interesting but the ending is not sort of not completed. Since there are three seasons of this drama and so any episodes, I really expected there would be more completed ending. The ending should at least include the part in which YQ and XYZ get married and XR realised her belief and theory about a happy family is not true…. in fact, the moral values have been neglected…..

That is at the start of the show(the beginning of the entire show), where they went to pray..
That part is when XYZ first being recognised as the princess , then she followed the emperor to pray . If i am not wrong , that scene is about XYZ complaining that she is tried after the whole day event

i don wanna see them return to beijing, not to mention back to that palace. that mom will start pestering YongQi to stay for the sake of MianYi and that XinRong .. but I really wanna see them suffer after knowing that their son & husband left them after his son turns 1 month old. lols suffer!
but really, should have a perfect ending for 十全十美, gather around Dali, and whether LiuHong has married off with GaoMing and the Emperor, come to Dali to visit them!

xiaojian 好残忍阿 皇帝帮他解决杀父之仇 他还要去大理 小燕子还要在大理干粗活 分离她和五阿哥 搞到皇帝失去晴儿小燕子和五阿哥……

我是個七年級生(所謂的八零後) 從小就喜歡看瓊瑤戲 但是對我來說瓊瑤阿姨的經典從來都不是那些 不斷改變劇情甚至有些矯枉過剩的翻拍 你如果問我 在我心中瓊瑤片的經典是什麼 我一定會回答 如果不是記憶還不健全時和媽媽一起窩在客廳看的庭院深深,婉君或啞妻 那就是懂事以後看得一邊笑一邊哭的青青河邊草 一邊感動一邊心急的鬼丈夫 還有早修的時候大家會大談劇情的還珠格格…
其實我一直認為 經典就讓他經典吧 與其絞盡腦汁讓經典物化了 不如再創造新的經典吧….
說幾句不好聽的話 是不是瓊瑤阿姨年紀大了 只能把自己停留在過去的經典 抽不了身 所以才會本末倒置的 忘記他的是在幫大家創造新的回憶 而不是和舊的記憶糾結…
我不否認我還是很喜歡這個故事 但是可惜的是 他是永遠成不了經典的 最起碼在我的心中就會是這樣…..

good ending but too short the reunion moment too short I think if there is another episod which talking bout when benji on the way back to od england he meet girl similiar to syz than he cancel to back but return to dali. Also talk after few years zw,er kang and emporer visit them in dali with small erkang syz n yq come out with hand hoding syq ha bit bout their future that wil be better anyhow I like ending
I feel so sorry for Benjamin…..is it just me? I mean I was not touched at all by this ending…..I felt nothing at all……am I being too cold blooded?
